Selling a home in Pasco & Hernando
Plan your home sale with SVG Realty: comparable properties, preparation, marketing discussions and a manageable timeline.
SVG Realty LLC · Published October 9, 2026
1. Begin with the reason for your move
Tell your associate about your timing, the next home you have in mind and what would make the transition easier. Discuss both sides of your move rather than choosing a listing date in isolation.
2. Understand your property’s position
Request an agent-prepared comparative market analysis. Review relevant sales and competing properties, then discuss how condition, location and features affect the comparison. A market analysis is not an appraisal or a guaranteed sale price.
3. Choose preparation deliberately
Walk through your property with your associate and create a prioritized preparation list. Discuss photography, presentation and showing arrangements before spending on improvements. There is no single preparation plan that fits every home.
4. Ask for a clear marketing conversation
Discuss the proposed listing distribution, photographs, property description, showing process and communication schedule. Ask which services are included, which may have additional costs and how you will review progress together.
5. Plan for the details after an offer
Ask your associate to explain the offer terms, relevant deadlines and the next steps in plain language. Keep a list of moving arrangements and questions for the appropriate closing professionals. Avoid assuming every transaction will follow the same timeline.
